Tributary C is Salsa's electric rugged-road adventure bike, built to devour big, burly dirt routes.

Tributary's well-balanced gravel geometry and massive tire clearance mean total comfort and control on sketchy surfaces, even at ebike speeds. The Bosch Performance Line Speed motor empowers riders to tackle demanding bikepacking routes, explore vast networks of forest roads, or add miles to any adventure. Pair all that with Salsa's on-bike cargo features, and Tributary is ready to take riders from their front door to far-out.

The high-modulus carbon fiber frame keeps weight to a minimum and provides a custom-tuned blend of stiffness and compliance where it matters. Salsa's Class 5 VRS (vibration reduction system) design has specially shaped seatstays with a tall, thin, vertically oriented profile that promotes vertical compliance by allowing the seatstays to flex outwards on impacts. The horizontally oriented chainstays work to resist torque and maintain a laterally stiff rear end. The seatstays and chainstays lack bridges, furthering the full length of the stays to contribute to flexibility, while a rear thru-axle delivers precise tracking.

The Bosch Performance Line Speed with smart system is a Class 3 motor that delivers electric assist up to 45km/h (28mph). The mid-drive system delivers loads of torque and range, and keeps the motor's weight low and centered on the bike for neutral handling. The system delivers up to 85Nm of assist, with four customisable assist levels and an integrated speed sensor to control torque output. The Bosch PowerTube 625 battery offers enough range to get lost on favorite forest roads and is fully encased in the downtube for added stiffness and a clean look.

Tributary fits two bottles inside the frame on all sizes and offers plenty of frame bag space. Extra thirsty? Mount bottles to the Three-Pack mounts on the fork. Mount Salsa's Anything Cage HD to the fork to carry a cook kit, extra layers, or a sleeping pad. For heavier touring loads, outfit Tributary with front and rear racks. The frame fits up to a 74cm (29") x 6.6cm (2.6") tire or 74cm (29") x 6.1cm (2.4") with fenders.
